The county, <br /> state or Ice Age Park and Trail Foundation would like to talk with <br /> the land owner some day about acquiring an easement for the trail. <br /> We are not opposing the zoning just an oppotunity to discuss the <br /> trail easement in the future would be nice. <br /> 7110 <br /> The Dane County Park and Open Space Plan call for the area around <br /> Fish Lake to be a Resource Protection Area. DNR Southern Region <br /> would take the lead. Dave Marshall would be the contact. At the <br /> present Dane County does not have the financial resources to <br /> purchase, develop or maintain this area. DNR should be the lead <br /> agency here. If we do not have a plan, or the resources to follow-up <br /> it will be necessary to use other criteria to turn this request down. <br /> DNR has some concerns about the cold water deep lake resource of <br /> Fish Lake. This could have a negative affect on that resource . <br /> 1471 <br /> There is no direct impact on any Dane County Parks Resource <br /> protection area. This could be part of the Black Earth Creek <br /> Watershed and Land Conservation may have some comments on r.;_n off <br /> from parking lot.
