Explanation for Request for Rezoning <br /> The subject property, 28 acres, more or less, (actual area to be determined after a certified <br /> survey is completed), results from a land division of a 100.1 acre parcel zoned A-1. Our <br /> intent is to keep the land in agricultural use, and also build our residence on the property. <br /> As the property will be less than 35 acres, a rezoning from A-1 to A-2 is required. The <br /> land is currently unimproved with no structures. We plan to start construction of our <br /> home in the Spring of 1998, with completion and occupancy by fall of 1998. We plan to <br /> start construction of a plant greenhouse in the Spring of 1999.
