I move that the Zoning and Natural Resource committee recommend rejection of <br /> zoning petition #7109 for the following reasons: <br /> 1. The proposal conflicts with the criteria and policies of the adopted plan: <br /> a. The proposed development requires a public road and the northern portion does not <br /> front on a public road. <br /> b. The proposed rezoning includes building sites that are on soils of"statewide <br /> significance as delineated on the soil maps". <br /> c. The proposed private road would not follow the natural contour of the land OR would <br /> "destroy ... steep slopes" OR would exceed twelve per cent in slope. <br /> 2. The proposal conflicts with the rural preservation goals of the plan: <br /> a. to prevent the encroachment of uses that will conflict with agriculture on adjacent lands <br /> and <br /> b. to preserve the rural character of the area. <br />
