r-
Dr. and Mrs. Larry Pakyz
9435 Cty Hwy Y
Sauk City, 53583
(608) 643-6628 APR 2 8 1998
April 26, 1998 D.C. PLANNING -.
tR,G &
ZONING DIVISION
Mr. James Gregorius, Zoning Administrator
Dane County Planning and Development
Room 116, City County Building
Madison, WI 53709
Dear Mr. Gregorius:
This is being written to officially register our opposition to the driveway
placed on County Hwy. Y placed by Margo and Ron Zeman on lot # 1, Town
of Roxbury Assessor's Plot #1 . Rezoning was approved On 2-19-98, request
# 7121. It appears that an easement was obtained from the owners of the
adjacent lot #2 to allow the owners of this parcel to use the same
driveway should they wish to rezone their 5 acre parcel and build another
home on the south 2 /2 acres they would split off.
3. The driveway onto County Highway Y is in an EXTREMELY DANGEROUS
location. This is our greatest concern. It exits about 70 feet below the
crest of a large hill on Y. If a car is going west on Y, at the posted speed
limit of 45 mph (or faster, as is often the case), he cannot see a car
coming out of the driveway untill he is at the crest of the hill.
