Considering the <br /> region on the north side of Madison between Waunakee and Sun Prairie (towns of Burke <br /> and Westport), there are emergent wetland complexes along Dorn Creek, Six Mile Creek, <br /> Token Creek, and the Yahara River all with access to state or local highways that would <br /> make them attractive to such development. Locally, the large swamp immediately south <br /> of the Carley property also lies adjacent to extensive uplands fronting CTH CV. <br /> Given the continuing, strong economic climate of the Madison area, and the existence of <br /> wetlands near commerce routes, it is likely that similar projects will be proposed over the <br /> next few years, each having unavoidable wetland impacts.
