EXTRACTION <br /> CONDITIONAL, USE PERMIT REQUIREMENTS <br /> DOCUMENT 1 997-25 <br /> (.KTOI3ER 20,1997 <br /> Mineral extraction operations at the Meissen l'it shall cease no later than three and one-half years <br /> from the date of approval. During this time period two years will be allowed for gravel caution <br /> and crushing; the*maiming year and one- half will be set aside to remove the remaining crushed <br /> gravel and site reclmation. <br /> The Conditional Use Permit will be reviewed annually. If necessary, CUP requirements and the <br /> area permitted for Mineral extraction will he modified to meet the three and one-half year <br /> operation limit. <br /> A reclamation p approved 1w the Town and County, is to include both existing site and site <br /> covered by this . <br /> Two separate site Plan maps shall be required. One map is to show the mineral extraction area with <br /> existing land contour lines. The second map is to show the land included in the existing site and the <br /> site covered by th0 CI JP after reclamation. The second map will show proposed land contour lines <br /> after reclamation ii4 completed. <br /> Au archaeological survey of proposed extraction site shall he completed before extractions <br /> operations are allowed to been. Periodic archaeological inspections will be performed during <br /> removal of the topsoil layers. The operator will assume financial responsibility for the survey and <br /> inspections, i <br /> The operator shall Oost and maintain.at all times Irrevocable Letter of Credit for $10,000.00 during <br /> the term of the CU ', payable to the Town of Roxbury to ensure compliance with the reclamation <br /> plan. <br /> Areas deemed dangerous to the general public shall be fenced. Fence location will be indicated on <br /> the mineral extraction area map. The site shall be signed "no trespassing". <br /> Blasting and drilling on the site will be prohibited. <br /> There shall be rm balk Inc'atoicd on site. <br />
