Mr. James Gregorius <br /> RE: CARRIAGE RIDGE - FIRST ADDITION <br /> Submission and request of approval for the Re-zoning from A-2 to R-1 <br /> Ladies and Gentlemen: <br /> On behalf of Carriage Ridge LLC, owners and developers of the above captioned project, <br /> I wish to request the Re-zoning from A-2 to R-1 for the property described herein. <br /> A concept plan and design has previously been presented to the Town of Westport Plan <br /> Commission and approval to move forward was granted. Subsequent to this, the Plan <br /> Commission has recommended and the Town Board has approved, by Resolution # 97-1, to <br /> amend the Land Use Plan to incorporate this parcel as a Single Family Residential Development <br /> District, a use that has always been intended since Carriage Ridge commenced in 1993. The <br /> Town Board has also incorporated, by Resolution # 95-66, the subject parcel into the Towns' <br /> Water Utility District, and the owners have made partial assessment payments to the District. <br /> The Town has also authorized, by Resolution # 97-4, the request for amendment of the Central <br /> Urban Service Area to incorporate the subject parcel. This amendment study is currently being <br /> finalized for Town review and submittal to Dane County RPC. The Owners/Developers have <br /> also petitioned the Town of Westport for Re-zoning and Plat approval and are of this same date <br /> petitioning the County for Preliminary Plat approval. <br />
