•
p Op 1
G 1111 •
> ' \,TI , Dane County Planning & Development
a "' -;, ,i
((tc//7 Division of Zoning
11111 .._.1-Qi, ,,
January 26, 2006
Paul & Jacqueline Parisi
3728 Halvorson Road
Stoughton, WI 53589
RE: Parcel 0610-274-9700-2, Lot. 1, CSM #8748, Section 27, Town of Dunn and Rezone
Petition 6911
Dear Paul and Jackie,
As we discussed recently when I phoned you, the Dane County Zoning Division is asking your
cooperation in correcting an oversight that recently came to light. That is, your parcel,
described above, was rezoned to the A-2(8) Agricultural district under Petition 6911 (effective
11/11/1997), instead of being rezoned to the RH-3 Rural Homes district, as requested by Mr.
Ronaldo Parisi (the property owner at that time) and the Town of Dunn.
The Dane County Zoning Division would like to process a new rezoning application to correct
this inaccuracy. There will be no cost to you, and you will not be required to attend the county's
zoning committee public hearing, unless you wish to do so. Dane County Zoning will contact
the Town of Dunn to explain the reason for the reapplication, and will ask that you be excused
from attending Town meetings, but must abide by the Town's policies in this regard.
Since you gave me your approval to proceed over the phone on 01/24/2006, I have assigned
Petition # 9464 to the new application, which will be on the agenda of the Dane County Zoning
and Land Regulation Committee on Tuesday, April 25, 2006. I am enclosing two sets of copies
of the application documents for your review. Please sign and date the "highlighted"copy to
indicate your permission to proceed, then return the signed copy in the envelope provided.
You may have general or specific questions about the application process, beyond what I tried
to explain in your phone call and in this letter. I am attaching some background information in
the form of questions and answers. Please pay careful attention to the restrictions on size and
height of residential vs. agricultural accessory buildings in Answer 3) below. It may be
advisable for us to discuss the existing uses, sizes and heights of the outbuildings on your
parcel, shown on Certified Survey Map 8748 as a detached garage, (2) large barns and a
smaller shed.
