This proposed rural residential site appears to conflict with the adopted town/county density policy <br /> in the Town of Deerfield. <br /> The relevant policy is: <br /> "Lands in the Agricultural Preservation District should not be rezoned for non farm residential <br /> development at an overall density of greater than one dwelling unit for 35 acres " <br /> With zoning Petition 6557 in March 1996,it was noted that the maximum number of parcels allowed by the <br /> density policy was reached in 1994. As a compromise the applicant had transferred a building site from his <br /> property in another part of the town.This"transfer"was subsequently approved by the town and Dane County <br /> (Petition 6557). <br /> If the proposal is to again transfer a residential building site from some other land ownership in the town,there <br /> needs to be public disclosure of this intent for consistent application of this policy. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH (septic, etc.) <br /> None <br /> DANE COUNTY HIGHWAY <br /> None <br /> OTHER <br />
