This proposed division of a substandard parcel appears to conflict with the <br /> adopted town/county plan in the Town of Vienna. <br /> This residential parcel (5 acres) with an existing house existed prior to adoption of the plan <br /> (January 1980) and A-1 Exclusive Agricultural Zoning (March 1980). As such the following <br /> policy applies: <br /> "Existing parcels less than 35 acres within the Agriculture Preservation District <br /> shall be treated as nonconforming properties and may be developed consistent with <br /> zoning prior to adoption of this plan and with other Dane County and Town of <br /> Vienna ordinances. " <br /> This lot has been developed with a house as allowed under the A-i Exclusive Agricultural Zoning <br /> District.
