Dane County Planning and Development <br /> Work Meeting August 5, 1997 <br /> Rezone Petition 6940 <br /> CUP 1435 <br /> Issues to be settled: 1) Maximum number of dogs. <br /> 2) Hours of operation. <br /> 3) Floor plan of building. <br /> 4) Animal waste disposal. <br /> 1) The kennel is set up with 18 indoor runs. Some pet owners may <br /> have 2 dogs they wish to kennel together in the same run. In <br /> this event the maximum number of dogs would be over 18. It's <br /> difficult to estimate how many households would fall into this <br /> category. I can not see the maximum number to be over 23. I <br /> realize this number is over our original number. I had not taken <br /> into account the multiple pet households. <br /> 2 ) I would like to change our hours of operation. Again it is <br /> difficult to estimate the peak times that the kennel would be <br /> needed. The maximum hours we would like to be open would be 7AM <br /> to FPM. These times may be lessened depending on the need. <br /> 3) Floor plan see attachments. <br /> 4) The plan for animal waste is to compost solids when possible, <br /> and to have a holding tank.
