Fax ,608)831-8711 January 10, 1997 �D In1i�iJ�ri✓ 1 Dear Neighbor: I would like to build a permanent outdoor "Party Patio" on the restaurant property to the southwest of the parking lot (by the horseshoe pits). The Party Patio would be similar to the arrangement we used for our Customer Appreciation bay last July. My plans for the Party Patio include a music stage, dance floor, drink tent for alcoholic beverages, dining tent for grilling and serving food, and outdoor bathroom facilities, all enclosed in a permanent fence. The Party Patio would be used for private parties such as wedding receptions, family reunions, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, etc. I also plan to occasionally book events open to the public, which would include live music and dancing. Security (including traffic and parking control) for all public events would be provided by bane County Sheriff Department officers at my expense. I plan to construct the music stage so that the sound is directed toward the restaurant and away from our neighbors so that the noise is contained as much as possible. Live music would be restricted to certain time periods as established by the Springfield Town Board to limit any noise disturbances. I hope that the Party Patio will be a welcome addition to the community that can be used and enjoyed by all. I plan to submit a proposal to the Springfield Town Board at the January 21st meeting. I would like to have your approval of this proposal to present to the Board at that time. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know so we can discuss them.
