We, on behalf of Mr.
DuPre, are resubmitting our request that the 200' x 217.8' (one acre) parcel described in the
attached legal description be rezoned from A-1 (excl.) to Commercial C-l. This is a re-
submission of a request for rezoning originally filed on September 3, 1996 (Rezoning Petition
6743).
Petition 6743 was approved by both the Town of Cottage Grove and Dane County.
However, as a condition of its approval, Dane County required the one acre parcel to be
described by a certified survey map. Although Dane County acknowledged that a certified
survey map is not normally required when the property is being conveyed from one adjacent
landowner to another and the conveyed property will never be conveyed apart from the
transferee's property, the Application for Rezoning apparently indicated that the applicant would
provide a certified survey map. Rather than prepare a certified survey map, we are refiling the
petition and resubmitting to the Town of Cottage Grove a revised Notice of Intent for Change
of Land Use.
We enclose the following in connection with this renewed request:
1. Check in the amount of $165 to cover the filing fee;
Member
COMMERCIAL LAW AFFILIATES
A World-Wide Network of Independent Law Firms
