The item is the rezoning petition of Rafael and Betty Ripp (#6974) to allow the creation of six residential lots along CTH KP. The remaining issue at the County level regarding this petition is how access to the lots should be provided. As you know, the current proposal is to provide access to all lots via a shared private driveway. At its meeting of November 18, the Zoning and Natural Resources Committee unanimously approved a motion to postpone action on this request based on the reason that they wanted to explore the possibility of a town road to serve the development. and that the "easement and maintenance agreement" proposed by the applicant's agent was unacceptable. The Committee hopes that this issue can be resolved quickly, and has therefore directed staff to place the item on its December 16 agenda. If this item is scheduled for the December 2 Town Board meeting. one of my staff would be able to attend that meeting. My hope is that the Town Board would be able to take a position whether a town road to serve the development is acceptable or not.
