MEETING MINUTES FROM JOINT TOWN BOARD 6-18-97 <br /> PRESENT: WIGANOWSKY, KURT, STENSON, BEDKER, HEISIG, VOLKMANN, <br /> URBAN, FRANZ, SHEARD, BABLER <br /> CALL TO ORDER BY WIGANOWSKY. PLEDGE RECITED. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT: Bedker stated he wanted to have the attorney do a cease and desist <br /> order to stop the storm water project in Sun Prairie along Hwy. 19. Hazelbaker said they <br /> could file lawsuit and obtain a temporary restraining order. They will discuss it outside <br /> the meeting with chair Wiganowsky. Bedker also said he thought the road crew should be <br /> maintaining the mowing and sweeping of curb and gutter at the Hwy. 19 development. <br /> 1997-1998 LIQUOR LICENCE AND OPERATOR'S LICENSE RENEWAL: Volkmann <br /> stated she had received no comments regarding any of the establishments. She had <br /> contacted Lt. Willison for any comments and he said everything seemed to be fine. <br /> Motion by Stenson to approve all applications, second by Kurt. Motion carried. <br /> SIGN APPLICATION FOR THERMOKING: Franz said that they had been before the <br /> PC and they had recommended the permit be granted. Motion by Bedker to accept the PC <br /> recommendation, second by Stenson. Motion carried. <br /> MINUTES: Motion to approve minutes from 4-23-97 by Stenson, second by Kurt. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT INC. John Brigham stated he has asked Dane County to <br /> have the condition they put on petition 6685 be removed. The Town's attorney has <br /> drafted a resolution asking the same of the RPC. The Planning Commission discussed the <br /> resolution and a motion by Babler, second by Urban to approve was made. Motion <br /> carried. The Town Board reviewed it. Motion by Stenson to approve, second by Kurt. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> AIRPORT APPLICATION FOR CUP 1436: Pete Drahn explained that they are not <br /> asking for a rezone, but rather a CUP to excavate near Starkweather Creek area. They <br /> will be building the new runway on some Town boundaries so the County requires the <br /> CUP. It is now A-1 and they want it to remain A-1. The Plan Commission reviewed the <br /> request. A motion by Babler to approve CUP 1436 was made. A second by Sheard was <br /> made. Motion carried. The Town Board reviewed the CUP application. Motion by <br /> Bedker to approve CUP 1436, second by Stenson. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Pete Drahn also explained that another issue will need to be addressed by the Board. <br /> They submitted a wetlands fill boundary description and said that they are planning to fill <br /> certain wetlands but have submitted a plan to replace the same amount of lands <br /> elsewhere. They are impacting 17.59 acres. Hazelbaker said they have already approved <br /> the plan by virtue of approval of CUP 1436. Mike Krishner explained that in July they <br /> will redo the maps showing the lands they are taking out of Burke and where they will be <br />
