This action was taken after the Town of Westport Board requested that the item be held in abeyance until you provided more information. As I indicated in the"Planning Division Staff Comments" which I previously mailed to you, I agree that more information needs to be provided to both the Town and County to allow proper evaluation of your request. Another copy of that staff report is attached for your information. The ZNR Committee asked that I forward to your attention documentation from previous CUP requests for extraction sites close to urban areas. As such, I have attached information required and provided for CUPs 1262 and 1265. Please pay particularly close attention to the site plan/reclamation plan packet which the applicant provided in support of CUP 1265. This is the level of detail County Planning staff would like your application to include before County action is considered. Other information that we are seeking is described in the staff report. I have provided a copy of this information to the Town of Westport.
