Slotten, et al. <br /> Case No. 97-CV-1029 <br /> Dear Mr. Lorenz: <br /> As you know, we represent Mr . Rodney Slotten in the above- <br /> referenced case. On June 26, 1997, Mr. Rodney Slotten agreed to <br /> submit a petition for the rezoning of his land containing Verona <br /> Airport's new runway, pursuant to Dane County Ordinance (DCO) sec. <br /> 10.255 (1) , and to apply for: a conditional use permit, pursuant to <br /> DCO 10.255 (2) (e) , a zoning permit, pursuant to DCO sec. 10. 25 (2) , <br /> an erosion control plan, pursuant to DCO sec. 14 . 55, and a land use <br /> permit, pursuant to DCO sec. 17. 61(2) . Please consider this letter <br /> and the enclosed documents, as Mr. Slotten ' s petition for the <br /> rezoning and application for all of the appropriate permits. <br /> As you indicated to Gary Johnson from my office, we have not <br /> completed the rezoning application and the individual zoning permit <br /> applications. Instead, we have enclosed the necessary documents <br /> supporting all of the pertinent applications and permits. Enclosed <br /> please find the following: 1) a legal description of the pertinent <br /> plat; 2) the plans for the Verona Airport's new runway filed with <br /> the Wisconsin Department of Transportation; 3) Barrientos and <br /> Associates ' Hydraulic Study and associated correspondence , <br /> including correspondence from the Department of Natural Resources <br /> approving the culvert's flood zone impact; 4) a wetlands inventory <br /> from the 1990, Highway 18-151, Final Environmental Impact Statement <br /> (EIS) ; and, 5) a 1995 sealed copy of an aerial photograph depicting <br /> the new runway. <br />
