•
Dallas Christensen,Chr. Town of Oregoii Oregon Town Hall
Donald L.Schultz, Sup. 1138 Union Road
Ruth Klahn, Clerk DANE COUNTY WISCONSIN
Gerald L.Jensen,Treas. Oregon, WI 53575
Andrew R. Blomstrom,Assessor (608)-835-3200
14 .a) The road is currently in place, no changes will be necessary
(Mr. Severson noted that he did have to dedicate additional feet to
the righ-of-way to comply with the 66' requirement-but no physical
changes will be required. )
14 .b) There will be no change. Since there is already a residence
on the town road, it is currently plowed and maintained by the
town.
14 .c) The land is suitable for development and meets criteria in
this item.
15 .a) The currently farmed parcels are proposed to be particially
farmed. Mr. Severson noted that he wouldn' t expect anyone to mow
and maintain an 8 acre lawn and would anticipate keeping the
balance in field. The farmer commented that he has met the 8-acre
requirement , required in the land use plan, and would have
prefered to have sold off smaller lots . He is in a position where
all of his farm land is prime, which limits him in this category--
where he has no choice of a non-prime portion of land to divide
off.
15 .b) Again, Mr. Severson stated that he anticipated the balance of
the land, not in lawn, to be farmed.
15 .C) There would not be a conflict with the remaining agricultural
operations . He again stated that he or his son will continue to
farm the land.
15.d) There will not be a conflict with agricultural operations on
other properties .
16 .a) The development does not exceed the density requirements .
The farmer was made aware that this would be the last division that
would be allowed given the size of the balance of his property.
(Records will be made at the town and are required to be deed
restricted on the two parcels to note that no further division will
be allowed. )
