COMPOSITE REPORT - Page 2 APPLICATION NO. <br /> STAFF COMMENTS <br /> REGIONAL PLANNING <br /> Petition 6437. This proposed development site is within an area proposed for future development on <br /> the Town of Westport Land Use Plan, adjacent to the Central Urban Service Area,but not in the <br /> service area. <br /> The area is shown for future single family residential use on the town plan;however, the Town has <br /> amended their plan to redesignate this area for Multi-Family Residential Development. This <br /> amendment is currently pending before the County Board(Res. 181, 1995-96) and RPC. <br /> The Town has also requested an Amendment to the Central Urban Service Area of this same area <br /> (Parcel#6 on the Urban Service Area Boundary and Environmental Corridor Map of the Town Plan). <br /> Both the Plan Use Amendment and the Amendment to the Central Urban Service Area are scheduled <br /> for public hearing before the RPC on November 20, 1995. Pending the public hearing and action on the <br /> proposal by the RPC, we should be able to report on the status after that time. The staff report on the <br /> urban service area amendment has not been completed. <br /> Until the Plan Amendment for the use change and the Central Urban Service Area Amendment are <br /> approved to include this area, it would be a conflict with adopted plans to approve rezoning to permit <br /> multi-family development as proposed. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH (septic, etc.) <br /> None. <br /> DANE COUNTY HIGHWAY <br /> None. <br /> OTHER <br /> None. <br />
