A legal description of the land that is proposed to be rezoned, either by <br /> a metes and bounds description, a certified survey map number or a lot in <br /> a recorded plat. <br /> 2. A 1" = 400' scale drawing of the proposed rezone area including: <br /> A. Acreage or square footage of area for rezone. <br /> B. Soil classifications and percentage of each class contained within <br /> the area for rezone. <br /> 3. Tax parcel number of the lot or parcel to be rezoned. If the area to be <br /> rezoned is a part of a larger parcel, the number of the larger parcel will <br /> suffice. <br /> 4. A filing fee of $100.00 payable at the time the petition is filed. <br /> AATEacti4D <br /> 5 A written statement fully explaining the reason for the rezone is <br /> required. The statement must include a time schedule for developement and <br /> the intent and purpose of the rezone e.g. provide land for a residence for <br /> a child of the farmer, sell off poor cropland, existing or proposed use <br /> (describe use) requires rezone to an appropriate district, create parcel <br /> for a retirement home for the farmer, separate farm buildings from the <br /> farm and sell balance of cropland, etc. This information must be <br /> submitted at the time that you file a petition to rezone: <br /> P-rTrrcrt a <br /> 6® IMPORTANT: MANY TOWN BOARDS REQUIRE A REVIEW OF A PROPOSED REZONE PRIOR <br /> TO THE SUBMISSION OF A FORMAL APPLICATION.
