arena ( building size 70 X 120 feet ) and a rehabilitation center . <br /> Locating the residence and accessory buildings and working areas <br /> along the same geographical/topographical line is designed to <br /> minimize interruption of pasture areas , paddock and agriculture <br /> land . There are benefits to the working areas and buildings <br /> being proximate to and at the level and elevated portions of the <br /> lands ' open area . It is of great therapeutic benefit for the horses <br /> to be pastured on sloped areas and logistically , these pastures <br /> need to be near these working areas . This would also provide an <br /> attractive presentation for customers and local residen . <br /> This location of the buildings is also important to insure.. the security <br /> of the horses and equipment . While the horses are being treated , we are <br /> totally responsible for their care , safety and welfare . <br /> The Vermont Township Zoning Committee and Town Board Members were <br /> positive concerning our layout and business concepts , but were <br /> unable to approve our sites for our building needs because they <br /> do not want any buildings constructed in an open field . However , <br /> the exsisting pole building is already established in the middle <br /> of this open field . Because of our business needs , we were referred <br /> to Dane County Zoning for a Conditional Use Permit for a Limited <br />
