Thompson <br /> RE:Rezoning/Conditional Use request for Sunrise Stables <br /> State Highway 138, Oregon (Town of Rutland) WL <br /> This is to advise the planning commission that, as a property owner of two parcels <br /> located across the Highway from the Sunrise Stable, I have no objection to the <br /> rezoning/conditional use request submitted by Sunrise Stables. <br /> I do, however, have concerns regarding the parking. There are presently two <br /> driveways on the property. One leading into the stable area and one leading to the <br /> residence. I do not believe that any more driveways would be wise The Stable should <br /> also make adequate parking available for the trucks and trailers of the exhibitors <br /> and for spectators on their property. When horse shows are planned Sunrise Stables <br /> show notify the Town Clerk a reasonable time in advance so that the Highway <br /> shoulders can be posted with adequate NO PARKING signs. I have checked with the <br /> Dane County Sheriff"s Department and they would be more than happy to post the <br /> NO PARKING SIGNS if they have at least a three day notice and a five day notice <br /> would be greatly appreciated <br /> Richard W.
