■
• Madison Crushing & Excavating Co., Inc.
EXCAVATING,GRADING AND ROAD CONTRACTORS
5156 REGINA ROAD
MADISON,WISCONSIN 51714
(SSS) 245-4323
November 6, 1995
Dane County Land Regulation & Records
Zoning Administrator
210 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
Room 116
Madison, WI 53709
Dear Sir;
Madison Crushing & Excavating would like to buy an additional two acres
from our neighbor. This purchase is contingent on obtaining a zoning change
from Al to C2. Please find the legal description enclosed.
Please find the scale drawing enclosed. The area is approximately two
acres. The soil classification is limestone.
The two acres will be bought from a larger parcel owned by Harold &
Calvin Ziegler, and the parcel number is 261-9500.
The two acres would be added to the C2 land at 5185 Reiner Road. This
is the location of our office and shop. Within the next five years we hope to add to
the west side of our shop. This would allow us to do away with several older,
small out buildings. This would also allow us to store some spare parts and
materials inside which previously sat outside. This would also allow for room to
drive around the west side of the shop.
This two acre area is currently part of a quarry we have leased and
operated for more than 20 years. The land does not front on any street.
The town of Burke Planning Commission will take action on this November
8, 1995. I have talked to the chairman, Dave Wiganowsky, and he thought it
would be an appropriate use.
Thank you for your consideration of this application.
Sincerely
1/734;4--rr - e .
William Ziegibf, Vsident
