Page 2 <br /> 3. The fence adjoining the property to the east shall be repaired <br /> or replaced. The fence shall be, at minimum, a two strand wire <br /> fence, with wire at approximate heights of 24 and 40 inches above <br /> ground level. <br /> 4 . The property shall be posted with warning signs. The signs on <br /> the east side of the property shall be no less than 100 feet apart. <br /> 5. The conditional use permit shall be reviewed by the Dane County <br /> Zoning Administrator who will report to the Zoning and Natural <br /> Resources Committee every five years after the approval date of the <br /> CUP. <br /> 6. The conditional use shall cease when the Norm Denner family, <br /> including any offspring of Norm Denner, no longer control or own <br /> the range. <br /> 7. Shooting tables are required for targets at a distance of 100 <br /> yards or more. The tables shall be equipped with concrete muzzle <br /> cylinders at least 30" in length and not more than 12" in diameter. <br /> They shall be placed in a manner so as to prevent a rifle muzzle <br /> from shooting over or alongside the berm. <br /> 8 . The berms shall be cleared of rubber tires, along with any <br /> rocks, concrete rubble or other material that might provide a <br /> surface for potential ricochet. A one-foot layer of clean fill <br /> shall be placed on the shooting surface of the berm. The applicant <br /> shall submit a receipt for the legal disposition of the tires to <br /> the Zoning Administrator. <br /> 9. An "eyebrow" ricochet catcher shall be installed near the top of <br /> the berm. The catcher shall be at least 20" wide and shall extend <br /> a minimum of 6 feet from the surface of the berm. <br /> 10. The vertical height of the berm will be raised to 14 feet, and <br /> the width of the berm will be at lest 40 feet. <br /> 11. Lime or crushed limestone will be added to the fill in the berm <br /> behind the target area. <br /> 12. The center of the targets will be placed no more than three <br /> feet from ground level. <br /> 13. All shooting will be in compliance with Sec. 941 .20 (1) (d) Wis. <br /> Stats. , relating to the discharge of firearms within 100 yards of a <br /> dwelling. <br /> 14 . The concrete pit currently located 100 yards from the berm will <br /> be filled and capped at ground level. <br /> 15. A gate will be placed across the road leading into the <br /> facility. <br />
