Box 1497 <br /> Madison, WI 53701 <br /> Dear Mr. Van Sicklen: . <br /> I write in enthusiastic support of the Madison Area Youth Soccer <br /> Association's (MAYSA) development of 15-20 fields on the Burke <br /> property between Madison and Verona. <br /> As you know, MAYSA and Dane County were strong partners in the <br /> acquisition of this property. I am extremely pleased that MAYSA <br /> will develop part of the property as soccer fields. Such <br /> development will preserve the area as attractive open space and <br /> provide critically needed recreational opportunities for the 10,000 <br /> Dane County children participating in MAYSA. <br /> I have fond memories of both my daughters playing on MAYSA teams <br /> and know how much they enjoyed and benefitted from the experience. <br /> MAYSA offers many of Dane County's children an extraordinarily <br /> healthy opportunity to play and grow.
