This proposed farm machinery dealership raises policy issues in the Town of Cottage <br /> Grove, which is in the process of revising their plan. <br /> The current town/county plan designates this area as an agricultural preservation area and does not <br /> provide for such commercial uses. The plan contains an Agribusiness District, which is mapped to <br /> allow for such agribusiness;however,this site is not designated for this use. <br /> However,the Town of Cottage Grove recently revised and adopted a new plan for the town. In the <br /> revised plan,this same area is designated for commercial development. The RPC will consider the <br /> revised plan on January 25, 1996 with subsequent review by the ZNR Committee and consideration of <br /> adoption by the County Board. <br /> If the revised plan is approved, this petition would be consistent with that plan. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH (septic. etc.) <br /> None. <br /> DANE COUNTY HIGHWAY <br /> CTH"AB"is a controlled access highway. Parcel has one private entrance to"AB"at this time. An <br /> additional access was granted for agricultural purposes that apparently was not constructed and has <br /> expired. <br /> OTHER <br /> None. <br />
