This proposed 2-lot residential division is in an agricultural preservation district of the <br /> Town of Sun Prairie where the adopted town/county policy is: <br /> Any land considered for re-zoning to residential shall meet one or more of the following <br /> criteria.It should be: <br /> - Land where there has not been a history of economically viable farming activities. <br /> - Land which is too small to be economically used for agricultural purposes or which is <br /> inaccessible to the farm machinery needed to produce and harvest agricultural products. <br /> - Land located such that there would be no possible conflict with the surrounding <br /> agricultural uses. <br /> Comments related to the policy: <br /> - This area has been part of a farm field near the farm buildings. The application indicates that all the <br /> soils are either Class I or U,the highest productivity rating. <br /> - This 5-acre area is part of a larger farm. The"flag lot"to the west has a long drive back to a <br /> wooded site.
