No. <br /> ANALYSIS: Proposed C-2 rezone will allow relocation of existing motor vehicle repair busi- <br /> ness from the C-2 area shown upper right on map to the proposed C-2 area. Deed restriction <br /> will limit C-2 use to repair of motor vehicles and small engines and sale of motor- <br /> cycles. Proposed A-2 Zoning will provide appropriate zoning for continuation of an existing <br /> kennel. <br /> CONCERNS EXPRESSED AT/AFTER PUBLIC HEARING: <br /> STAFF COMMENTS: <br /> R.P.C. - Petition 4713 and CUP 807. This existing kennel site is In an <br /> agricultural preservation area In the Town of Blooming Grove. The county <br /> policy for this area is: "Sewered residential subdivisions, commercial <br /> and Industrial development that are not agricultural related shall be <br /> required to locate In urban service areas where the fullest range of <br /> urban services Is or can be provided. " <br /> This Is an Isolated location, with the nearest house on the LC-1 parcel <br /> to the east . The kennel operation is reasonably compatible. The central <br /> urban service area Is one half mile to the west and the county landfill <br /> Is approximately 1/4 mile to the south . <br /> The C-2 commercial proposal Is not consistent with policies since tins <br /> would allow many heavy commercial and Industrial activities at this <br /> location where urban development Is not planned. <br /> E.H.D. - <br /> Co.
