Effective December 16, 2015 Dane County Board of Supervisors Amending Chapter 10 of the Dane County Code of Ordinances Zoning Map Amendment Petition 10878 Dane County Board of Supervisors does ordain as follows: The Zoning Districts Maps as referenced under Dane County Code of Ordinance Section 10.03 shall be amended as follows: Town Map: Town of Verona Location: Section 12 Zoning District Boundary Changes C-1 to C-2 A parcel of land being part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (NE 1/4 SE 1/4) of Section Twelve (12), Township Six (6) North, Range Eight (8) East, Town of Verona, Dane County, Wisconsin, to-wit: Commencing at the East quarter corner of said section 12, thence along the East line of said Section 12, South 00 36' 27" West, 399.99 feet to the point of beginning; thence continuing South 00 36' 27" West, 208.46 feet; thence South 50 34' 47" West, 236.05 feet; thence North 40 00' 18" West, 160.60 feet; thence North 50 43' 45" East, 371.76 feet to the point of beginning. CONDITIONAL ZONING Conditional zoning is hereby imposed pursuant to Section 10.255(3)(a)2.(b) of the Dane County Code of Ordinances. The rezoned area shall be subject to the following conditions. DEED RESTRICTION REQUIRED This amendment will be effective if within 90 days of its adoption by Dane County the owner or owners of the land record the following restriction(s) on said land: 1. A deed restriction shall be recorded on the property to limit the land uses to all uses listed in the C-1 zoning district, retail and services uses, major repairs to motor vehicles, parking and storing or motor vehicles, and storage and processing of scrap materials inside a building. 2. A deed restriction shall be recorded on the property to prohibit the construction/erection of off-premise advertising signs (billboards). Said restriction(s) shall run in favor of Dane County and the pertinent Town Board(s) as well as the owners of land within 300 feet of the site. Failure to record the restriction(s) will cause the rezone to be null and void. A copy of the recorded document shall be submitted to Dane County Zoning.
