• <br /> March 4, 1996 <br /> Dane County Zoning Administrator <br /> Steve Reynolds/Dave Lorenz <br /> 210 Martin Luther King Blvd. <br /> Madison,WI 53707 <br /> Re: Conditional Use Permit for Building a 64 unit motel in Windsor on the NE Quadrant <br /> of State Hwy. 19 and I 90/94 on the Cl zoned parcel, and a conditional use permit for the <br /> existing Super 8 Hotel, with a restaurant and bar,located on the same parcel <br /> I am requesting that the conditional use as a hotel be approved for the new Days Inn with <br /> 64 rooms. The only use this building will have is that of a hotel. We are also requesting <br /> that the Super 8 be issued a conditional use for operating a motel, restaurant and bar. This <br /> request was stipulated by Dave Lorenz. This is an exising hotel that was grandfathered in <br /> for it's current uses under previous ordinances. We request this as Dane County Zoning <br /> requires this to get the approval for the proposed motel. <br /> I further request that immediate action be taken on this application tonight waiving the two <br /> week waiting period. <br /> Enclosed is the $100.00 application fee as requested. <br /> The proposed hotel will be a Days Inn franchise and will meet the standards of the <br /> franchising company in quality, room size, amenity requirements. Signage will meet the <br /> Dane County zoning and the quality standards of the Franchisor. <br /> We are requesting that parking be allowed in the parcel to the north of the Lot 1, a parcel <br /> that is zoned C2.
