<br /> and Natural Resources committee, and a hearing was held on April 9. The application,
<br /> filed, requests access to Hook Lake, as well as a parking lot for the State of Wisconsi
<br /> Department of Nature:. Resources. several neighbors have objected to the parking lot
<br /> although there do not appear to be other significant objections.
<br /> No action was taken at the Committee meeting on April 9, and a meeting is to be he]
<br /> in the Town in May to have additional discussions between the Department of Nature
<br /> Resources, neighbors and members of the Town Board.

<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED permit the Dane County Board of Supervisors states it
<br /> intent to approve the conditional use rmit without the arking lot, subject to approval
<br /> the Town Board.

<br /> ADOPTTh G AN AMENDMENT TO THE TOWN OF CROSS PLAINS LAND USE PLAN
<br /> The Town Board of Cross Plains has prepared and approved an amendment to the town.
<br /> Land Use Plan designating the parcels in zoning petitions #6460 and #6523 as "Rut
<br /> Development" areas, pursuant to the Town Plan. These petitions are on file in the Cour.
<br /> Zoning office and with the' County Clerk, and both were approved by the town withc
<br /> restrictions. The town has determined that these petitions, and the resulting p]
<br /> amendment, meet all :°elevant objectives and policies of the town plan, and meet the Farmle
<br /> Preservation Plan.
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that .the Dane County Board of Supervisors hereby ado)
<br /> the amendment to the Town of Cross Plains Land Use Plan and incorporates the changes into I
<br /> Dane County Farmlanc. Preservation Plan.

<br /> The watershed Project Management Coordinator in the Land Conservation Department
<br /> budgeted as a .75 FTE position. Currently, there are 4 active priority watershed projE
<br /> ongoing in Dane County. These are: Black Earth Creek, Yahara Monona, Dunlap Creek, and I
<br /> Mendota Priority Watershed projects. In addition, a new watershed project, Upper St
<br /> River, will be staring in 1997 There This position
