• •
•
Randall and Linda Brunner
4728 Cty Hwy FF
Blue Mounds, WI 53517
June 19,1996 1
JUN 2 41996 !
Dane County Zoning Planning Commission
Planning and Development
210 Martin Luther King Blvd D.C. PLANNING& DEVELOPMENT
Madison, WI 53703 ZONING DIVISION
To whom it may concern:
We are writing in regards to our support for the rezone request, made by Gordon Brunner and
Steven Pierick, to rezone from A-1 exclusive to Rh-1. Their petition number is#
•
We feel that you should pass it, a year ago, you passed our request for rezoning from A-1 to A-2
with a deed restriction for one property(Randall and Linda Brunner). Our building sites are very
similar, we are understanding that they will be building in the corner of their property, to keep
out of the good farmland, they are also buying enough land because they want excess to the West
Blue Mounds creek. We also, understand that they stated that they would put a deed restriction
on the remainder of their proposed property. We also, understand that Gordon Brunner will put a
deed restriction for no more homes to be built on his property that is between us and the
proposed Pierick property. This would stay exclusive farm land. We have no objections to this
at all, in fact we have requested that this would be done.
We know that a lot of the neighbors are objecting to another home being built on this property.
One neighbor just does not want a home being built there. This neighbor does not have to look
at this new home, we will have to. We do not object to this. The other neighbor wanted to buy
the remaining land, to farm it. This land was for sale, for over 10 years and no one bought it.
The land between us is currently being rented by a local farmer, so it is still being farmed. When
that land comes up for sale, if the land ever comes up for sale, we have been told that family
would have a chance to buy it first, versus an outside party. Mrs. Pierick would like to live
there, because she grew up on the Edward Brunner family farm. Mrs. Debra Pierick is my sister.
We would like to keep as much of the property within the family, for sentimental reasons.
We feel if you pass this and put a deed restriction on the remaining property, this would be fair
and consistent with the land use plan.
Sincerellyy,// 4e?WA/Y\Y1.—
Randall Brunner
sjg(f,n,C1CC.
Linda Brunner
