R • <br /> April 30, 1996 <br /> Town of Berry Town Board <br /> and <br /> Town of Berry Planning Committee <br /> 9036 Highway 19 <br /> Cross Plains, WI 53528 <br /> Dear Members of the Plan Committee and Town Board: <br /> Please consider for approval the following plans for a division of our lands, for the <br /> rezoning of our land at 8512 Highway 19, and for our related request for a conditional use <br /> permit. It would be helpful, in reviewing this request, to refer to the large Plat of Survey <br /> enclosed. <br /> We currently own two parcels of land, totalling approximately 83.89 acres, which we <br /> have been using in our horse lesson and boarding operation along Highway 19. The first <br /> consists of approximately 80.91 acres and is zoned as Ag-1 Exclusive. It is shown on the Plat <br /> of Survey as Parcel B and Parcel C because, as you will see below, we hope to divide this <br /> parcel. This parcel contains our stable, stalls, show rings, hay fields and pastures and a number <br /> of accessory buildings used in our horse/equestrian operations. <br /> The other parcel consists of a 2.98 acre CSM. We have recently been advised, to our <br /> considerable surprise, that this parcel was re-zoned, without our knowledge, to Ag-2(4). This <br /> parcel contains a single family home, and, unfortunately, some of the accessory buildings used <br /> by the horse/equestrian operations. This parcel shows as Lot 1, CSM 7403, on the larger <br /> drawing to the left side of the Plat of Survey. The buildings on this parcel are shown in greater <br /> detail in the enlarged drawing to the right hand side of the Plat of Survey. <br /> I. REVISION OF CSM PARCEL AND REZONE PETITION <br /> As you will observe in the enlarged "Detail" section of the Plat of Survey, there are a <br /> number of buildings in Lot 1, CSM 7403, which are being used by our equestrian operations. <br /> It is our intention to record a new Certified Survey Map, reducing this parcel to 2.01 acres, <br />
