- <br /> I, Gary Sutter, have rented the farm cropland acreage from Vernon L. and Culleen D. Peterson for <br /> many, many years. The piece of land they are requesting rezoning on is a non-conforming piece <br /> and is separated from the rest of the farm cropland and the entire farm property. <br /> As far as this piece of cropland is concerned, the hay crop is usually good. However, this piece of <br /> land was formerly a road bed before the present paved East Blue Mounds Road. Therefore, it is <br /> difficult and very rocky to plow, containing many rocks and shale. If cropped for corn or oats, the <br /> production is less than desirable as far as yield. It is very difficult to work this triangular 2.7 <br /> acreage with the size of today's equipment- 16' haybind, chopper and wagons, etc., because of the <br /> smallness and triangular shape.
