• <br /> TOWN BOARD MEETING 5-15-96 <br /> PRESENT: Wiganowsky, Bedker, Stenson, Volkmann <br /> ALSO PRESENT: See sign in sheet <br /> Call to order at 7:00 PM. Pledge recited. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT: None <br /> SALARIES AND BENEFITS: Jane Hoepker stated that she felt Deputy Clerk, Amy <br /> Volkmann, now having completed 90 days, deserved an increase to $11.00 per hour <br /> with full benefits. Motion to approve pay increase to $11.00 per hour with all benefits by <br /> Stenson. Second by Bedker. Motion carried. <br /> GAYLE THOMAS CSM: Thomas stated that this was not any different than the <br /> original CSM approved in 1991 , except the lines were moved slightly. Wiganowsky <br /> stated that according to Chapter 10 of the State Stats., sewered lots for duplexes shall <br /> not have less than 75 feet in width at the building setback line and have an area of not <br /> less than 10,000 square feet. Because of that, the surveyor moved the lines.Motion to <br /> approve CSM by Stenson. Second by Bedker. Motion carried. <br /> DAVID KLADE CSM: Owns 13 acres that he wants to split 5 from to sell as Ag-1 <br /> property. Wiganowsky stated that the PC approved the CSM. Motion by Stenson to <br /> accept the recommendation of the Planning Commission. Second by Bedker. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> PAYNE AND DOLAN TEMPORARY CUP: This is a temporary portable drum mix <br /> asphalt plant to be located off Hoepker Road. Wiganowsky stated that they are very <br /> good to work with. If there are problems, Payne and Dolan will remedy the situation <br /> immediately. Wiganowsky asked them to stay off secondary roads as much as <br /> possible. Berhends stated that they will be working primarily on 1-90 this summer so it <br /> should not be a problem. Motion by Stenson to approve temporary CUP. Second by <br /> Bedker. Motion carried. <br /> DANE COUNTY TOWN'S ASSN.-PAT AMPE: Informed the Board that John Norwell <br /> sent out a memo stating the County will not be dealing with mowing and weed issues <br /> as they did before. She also said that if a Town were to complain, they may get some <br /> assistance from the County. <br /> Explained that Ordinance amendment #46 was deemed illegal by Cornstead. It has to <br /> do with the 35 acre rule for A-1 exclusive land. Ampe says that the new amendment <br /> basically allows the zoning administrator to override the Town's decisions regarding <br /> these types of matters. <br /> Briefly discussed a resolution opposing ILR #83. It is attempting to do land use <br /> planning by plumbing codes. <br /> Reminded Board that the RPC Vision 2020 is having a meeting on May 23rd at the <br /> Expo center. <br />
