• <br /> Minutes from Feb., 1996 concerning the discussion of Lorenz rezone: <br /> A petition for rezoning acreage in sec 31 from EX AG to A2 conditional use. Wanted to place <br /> house and barn in the middle of field but at the meeting would consider moving the building site <br /> up by Barber road. Leo commented that the land was good farm land and it would go against our <br /> land use plan to build in that field. The committee looked at the land west of Kestrel Lane and <br /> suggested that it would meet the criteria that we have based all the other rezone throughout the <br /> township on. Lorenz did not want to put the home their. Audiences had concerns about the <br /> rezone and if he could have the homesite. In April 1992 they refused the petition for two <br /> homesite because it did not meet the land use plan. Neighbor concern Gary Gunderson 2 parcels <br /> rezoned and 3rd would not meet density. Dave's reply to Gary is that our township exempts farm <br /> homesite and Perry does not so he could have another site. Leo made a motion too denied the <br /> rezone because it did not meet our land use plan, Kathy seconded the motion. Motion carried 5 <br /> to 0.
