COMPOSITE REPORT - Page 3 Application No. 6652
E. After a favorable recommendation from the Town Planning Commission, the Town
Board on June 3 approved this rezoning with no conditions.
III. SUMMARY
A. The proposed rezoning for rural residential development is consistent with the
Town Land Use Plan and surrounding uses. The concentration of septic systems in
the area may impact groundwater quality, but that impact is very difficult to
measure.
B. If the ZNR Committee and County Board wish to approve this rezoning proposal,
under S. 91.77(1), Wisconsin Statutes, findings must be made based on
consideration of the following:
• Adequate public facilities to accommodate development either exist or will
be provided within a reasonable time.
• Provision of public facilities to accommodate development will not place an
unreasonable burden on the ability of affected units of government to
provide them.
• The land proposed for rezoning is suitable for development and
development will not result in undue water or air pollution, cause
unreasonable soil erosion, or have an unreasonable adverse effect on rare
or irreplaceable natural areas.
•
