JOHN DAHL CONSTRUCTION CO. INC.
6013 WINNEQUAH ROAD
MADISON. WIS. 53716
PHONE: 222-3632
July 30, 1997
Members of Dane County ZNR
Re: Zoning Petition #6652
Town of Cottage Grove
Dear Supervisors:
Some members of this committee have in the past questioned the proposed
density of one (1 ) lot per acre for this development.
This reluctance has been at least partly based on statements reportedly made
by the Director of Dane County Environmental Health, James Clark.
I recently wrote to Mr. Clark and asked him to clarify his position on the
matter.
Mr. Clarks letter of reply is attached and it speakes for itself; suffice to
say it completely endorses our proposed density of one (1 ) lot per acre.
I request your approval of this rezoning with no conditions attached. We
intend to design the plat to conform with the Town of Cottage Grove Land Use Plan,
The Town Subdivision Ordinance and the applicable County requirements. In addition
the preliminary and final plats will be subject to approval by both the Town of
Cottage Grove and by Dane County.
411-77 Dahl
Encl: John Dahl letter to Mr. Clark dated 7/17/97
Mr. Clark letter to John Dahl dated 7/23/97
