(A copy of this notice is enclosed.) <br /> Inspection has disclosed that ordinance requirements have not been complied with. <br /> Chapter 10 Dane County Ordinances, Section 10.25(5Xa) and (b), provides that <br /> citations may be issued for enforcement of the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> The Dane County Zoning Ordinance provides under Section 10.25(5) that any <br /> person or persons, firm, company or corporation either owner, occupant or other <br /> user of the premises, who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply <br /> with or resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be <br /> subject to a forfeiture of not less than five dollars, nor more than two hundred <br /> dollars and costs. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a <br /> separate offense. Compliance herewith shall be enforced by injunctional order at <br /> the suite of the county or occupant of real estate within the district affected by the <br /> regulations of this ordinance. It shall not be necessary to prosecute for forfeiture <br /> before resorting to injunctional proceedings. <br /> Any person who has the ability to pay any forfeiture entered against him under this <br /> ordinance but refuses to do so may be confined in the county jail until such <br /> forfeiture is paid, but in no event to exceed thirty(30)days. In determining whether <br /> an individual has the ability to pay a forfeiture, all items of income and all assets are <br /> subject to garnishment, lien or attachment by creditors. <br /> You are hereby notified that compliance will be expected no later than July 22, <br /> 1999.
