With the rezoning for manufactured <br /> housing, our intent is to improve the land and construct new homesites so that they <br /> be suitable for manufactured homes; and that these new sites would comply with the <br /> ordinances of the Town of Madison, Dane County, and all other applicable state and <br /> federal codes and ordinances. To do this, we will need to rezone all the of the <br /> current Madison Mobile Home Park(currently B-1 district) and the areas originally <br /> marked as Lots 8, 9, and 10 (currently R-3 district) as one mobile home park zoned <br /> as B-1 with a Conditional Use Permit. This will be done in cooperation with the <br /> Town of Madison's requests to reduce density by replacing existing sites with new <br /> sites. We estimate that this project should be completed within twelve months of the <br /> date in which the land is rezoned and the CUP granted. <br /> The rezoning and construction of the addition to Madison Mobile Home Park will <br /> help fill the niche for a need for affordable home ownership to those in the Madison <br /> area. The addition will also be used to decrease density in the existing portions of <br /> the Madison Mobile Home Park, LLC leaving more space between existing homes, <br /> and much better conditions for the new section. This will not increase the total <br /> number of sites at the Madison Mobile Home Park, but will just increase the total <br /> area. We plan to eliminate those homes with the greatest proximity to each other, <br /> and will choose these homes with input from the Town of Madison.
