5 August 1996 <br /> TO: Dane County Zoning <br /> RE: Re-zone to RH-1 the homestead of Mrs. Lorraine Swalheim <br /> Mrs. Lorraine Swalheim and her late husband were very long-term farmers in the towns <br /> of Pleasant Sprig and Cottage ove. Upon their semi-retirement, the farmstead was sold to <br /> theircson-,-Duane P wa eim. Mrs. Swalheim retained 36.1 acres including a new home in the <br /> NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 4, Town of Pleasant Springs. She now wishes to move to the <br /> Village of Deerfield with her daughter and to sell the remaining land to her son at the appropriate <br /> time. The homestead parcel is to have 2.1 acres be zoned to RH-1, to be rectangular in shape, <br /> and consist of the home, large yard, private drive and a nominal amount of field land. The <br /> private drive is also used by Lots 1 and 2, of Certified Survey Map #1714 dated 12 June 1975. <br /> This re-zone is pursuant to a farm consolidation.
