Campbell <br /> 7197 & 7277 Loper Road <br /> WV2 SW1% Section 14, Town of Roxbury <br /> Zoning Petition No. 6790 <br /> Conditional Use Permit No. 1390 <br /> The following is in response for additional information by the Town of Roxbury Planning <br /> Commission and Dane County Zoning & Natural Resources Committee and is to be considered as <br /> part of the applicants' zoning petition and conditional use permit. <br /> Use Delineation: The twenty (20) acre parcel will be used for the following: horse <br /> boarding; riding stables; hay and sleigh rides; horse show and events; sale of horse and riding <br /> supplies; sale of candy, popcorn (and other "munchies") and soda; and native wildlife rehabilitation <br /> facility. <br /> The one (1) acre parcel will be used for the following: ceramic classes and shop, dog <br /> boarding kennels, and nature wildlife rehabilitation facility annex. <br /> Site Plan: Attached are site plans for the entire eighty (80) acre Bite, the twenty (20) acre <br /> site, and the one (1) acre site. <br /> Operation of Facilities: <br /> A. Twenty (20) Acre Parcel: The public hours of operation of the horse boarding stables, <br /> sale of horse and riding supplies, and the sale of candy, popcorn (and other "munchies") and soda <br /> will be restricted to daylight hours. In the summer, that will be from 6:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. <br /> approximately. A maximum of ten (10) horses will be boarded. <br /> The hay rides and sleigh rides will be by appointment only. Hay rides will be in the summer <br /> and fall between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Sleigh rides will be in the winter and early <br /> spring between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. <br /> The horse shows/events will be held in the summer and fall, at most two days per month. <br /> The event will be limited to at most ten (10) horses (on an all day basis) per show/event and will <br /> include such things as barrel racing, cattle cutting, and lassoing. Tickets will not be sold to the <br /> general public. <br /> The wildlife rehabilitation area will be under Department of Natural Resources supervision. <br /> There will be no "public" hours. Care will be limited to at most three "fur and feather" animals at <br /> any one time. <br /> B. One (1) Acre Parcel: The ceramic shop, including classes, will operate at most three (3) <br /> afternoons and three evenings per week, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 <br /> p.m. Exact days and hours will fluctuate during the year. <br /> The kennel area will be limited to at most five (5) dogs. The public hours of operation(drop <br /> off and pick up) will be limited to 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. <br /> In addition to the foregoing, this area may be used as a temporary shelter for a larger animal <br /> being rehabilitated. <br /> Dog Feces Disposal: Dog feces from the kennel area will be disposed of in conformity with <br /> the requirements of the County Sanitarian and the Department of Natural Resources. <br />
