Sieling: <br /> I have enclosed a formal copy of the decisions by the Land and <br /> Water Conservation Board (LWCB) regarding the certification <br /> request by Dane County for the revised agricultural preservation <br /> plan and the exclusive agricultural zoning map for the Town of <br /> Oregon. <br /> Agricultural Preservation Plan <br /> At the December 4 , 1996, meeting, the LWCB approved certification <br /> of the Dane County agricultural preservation plan for a period <br /> beginning in 1996 and ending December 31, 2005, based on the <br /> following conditions : <br /> (a) The Dane County Board must adopt the plan amendment (text <br /> and map dated November 26) before December 31, 1996, with <br /> the following minor text changes : <br /> 1 . Minor agreed text changes to correct inaccuracies in <br /> the labeling of overlay categories on page 34 . <br /> 2 . Minor agreed text changes to correct inconsistencies in <br /> the appendix which identifies lands removed from <br /> agricultural preservation status, and explains the <br /> reasons for their removal . <br /> (b) Dane County must file with the department an official <br /> record, certified by the county clerk, showing that the <br /> Dane County Board has adopted the plan amendment according <br /> to par. (a) . The record shall include a copy of the plan <br /> amendment as adopted by the Dane County Board. <br /> (c) Dane County must provide a written statement from the <br /> county corporation counsel that the plan amendment was <br /> adopted according to municipal law under chs . 59 through <br /> 68, Wis . Stats . <br />
