Storage and Disposal of Solid Waste <br /> Concrete and Rubble to be stored on site until amount reaches a sizeable load <br /> to be disposed of at the appropriate landfill. <br /> B. Used landscape materials. non-recycleable plastic. general trash and recycleable <br /> materials to be removed bi-monthly by waste disposal contractor. <br /> C. Wooden pallets to be re-used by Avant or removed. <br /> D. Brush to be chipped and recycled for use as mulch or to be burned on site. <br /> E. Leaves and other garden waste to be composted and recycled on perennial beds. <br /> 2. Noise and Odors <br /> A. Normal hours of operation will be from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. <br /> Bobcat skid steer loaders used for loading of trucks in the morning and unloading <br /> in the afternoon. Occasional use of Bobcat skid steer loaders and a brush chipper <br /> will occur on site during the day. <br /> B. No noticeable odors exist. <br /> 3. Storage of Hazardous Materials <br /> A. All landscape related chemicals will be stored in a manner consistent with OSHA <br /> standards. <br /> B. All fuels will be stored in appropriate containers in a fire proof metal cabinet. <br /> C. An interior plan showing location of any hazardous materials will be submitted <br /> to the Town Fire Department <br /> 4. Projected Traffic Levels and Types of Vehicles <br /> A. Delivery Trucks: <br /> 1. Triaxle Dump Trucks delivering sand. gravel. topsoil.boulders. etc. <br /> approximately bi-weekly from April 1--November 1. <br /> 2. Semi trucks delivering bark mulch, landscape supplies, and nursery <br /> stock approximately five to seven times per season (April 1--November 1). <br /> B. Avant Gardening Trucks: <br /> Daily use of two tandem axle trucks, two 1-ton pick up trucks. two half ton <br /> pick up trucks, one 4X4 Chevy Blazer, and two skid steer loaders <br /> C. Employee Vehicles: <br /> Ten full time employees with various personal vehicles and approximately five <br /> seasonal part time employees from April 15-August 15. <br /> D. Clients: Very occasional traffic to review plans and discuss projects <br /> 5. Night Time Operations <br /> Snow Removal: 24 Hr. On Call Service for 6-8 Employees during snow season. <br /> 6. Business will not require high amounts of water,large septic tanks,or fire hydrant. <br /> 7. See Site Plan for Erosion Control Proposal. <br />
