See attached preliminary Certified Survey Map for drawing of <br /> the proposed rezone area . <br /> A. Area of rezone is 252 , 173 square feet , or 5 . 79 acres . <br /> B . The rezone site is composed of 100% Basco BaB2 soils, per <br /> the Soil Survey of Dane County, USDA/SCS . <br /> 3 . The tax parcel number of the rezone is : 31-0608-212-8501 . <br /> 5 . The State of Wisconsin, Department of Transportation is <br /> seeking to sell this parcel as "excess lands" via Certified Survey <br /> Map . It was part of a larger parcel (former Ziegler farm) which <br /> was acquired to construct USH 18-151 around the City of Verona <br /> (known as the Verona Bypass) . This piece of land is currently in <br /> an A-1 Exclusive Agriculture District, which requires a minimum 35 <br /> acre size for a C. S .M. We are requesting a change in zoning to A-2 <br /> Agriculture District so a Certified Survey Map can be produced. <br /> The ultimate usage of the property will be up to any future <br /> purchaser' s . The Town of Verona Plan Commission supports this <br /> change in zoning, per their meeting on August 29, 1996 . <br />
