PETITION TO REZONE LAND IN DANE COUNTY
Russ Endres Russ Endres
6957 Highway K Wisconsin Management Company
Middleton, Wisconsin 53562 2040 S. Park Street
Madison, Wisconsin 53713
608-258-2080 608-258-2090 (FAX)
1) Legal Description of Land:
A-1 EXCL to RH-1
A parcel of land located in the NW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 27, J8N, 128E, Town of
Springfield, Dane County, Wisconsin to-wit:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of said NW 1/4 of the SE 1/4; thence South 1050 feet; thence
West 400 feet; thence North 300 feet; thence East 334 feet; thence North 850 feet; thence East 66
feet to the point of beginning. This parcel contains 3.9 Acres.
2a) Scale Drawing - see attached.
2b) Soil Classification: 50%RNB & 50% SCB
3) Tax Parcel Number: 28-0808-274-8500-7
4) $100.00 filing fee: Check enclosed.
5) I am requesting a rezoning of land for my planned residence at 6957 Highway K, located
in the town of Springfield. Currently, my parcel is forty acres zoned Al exclusive.
Rezoning the parcel allowing an undivided interest kept inclusive of the parcel is
requested. The planned home would be located in what is presently pasture not suitable
for cropland. The access to the home would utilize the existing drive, and would also
serve as the access road to the fields. No reduction in cropland would result.
It is hopeful that the creation of the access road and regrading would eliminate the
periodic flooding of three to four acres of prime farmland. This planned approach to the home
would allow very good access for service and emergency vehicles. (See flood photo).
I have planned to preserve the farmstead and the farmland under this plan. (See
photo's).
