I am writing to <br /> oppose the rezoning of Sunnyside Resort, zoning petition #6787, scheduled to be <br /> discussed at a public hearing on December 17th. <br /> I oppose this rezoning because of the following: <br /> 1 Tax increases <br /> 2 It conflicts with the land use plan of Pleasant Springs and Dunn, my town, <br /> and I want to preserve the rural nature of the area. <br /> 3 It would increase the population on the area and potentially also increase the <br /> use of Lake Kegonsa. <br /> 4 It would increase the population right next to Door Creek wetlands, a fragile <br /> natural area. <br /> 5 It is a move that runs contrary to the Preserve Dane Campaign, a program I <br /> am in support of. <br /> 6 It could increase run-off into the lake, changing water quality. <br /> Please do not approve the change in zoning spelled out in petition #6787. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Anne F.
