At that time, I asked that this application be held in abeyance rather than taken up by the Committee because we had not had an adequate opportunity to address the issues and concerns raised in the report prepared by Mark Roffers. While at the committee meeting on the 17th, I asked that the matter of the Conditional Use Permit be placed on the agenda of the Committee for its meeting on January 7, 1997. In the interim, we have not been able to schedule a meeting to discuss the issues and concerns in time to appropriately address them prior to the January 7 Committee meeting. However, as of last Friday, I have coordinated the arrangements for such a meeting through Mark Roffers and that meeting is now scheduled for January 9, 1997 at 9:30 a.m. I believe that will put us on a track to bring the Conditional Use Permit before the Committee at its regularly scheduled meeting on January 21, 1997 and therefore by this correspondence, I would ask you to take us from your agenda of January 7 and place us on the agenda for January 21.
