I <br /> purchased the property in August 1986 from HUD as a 2 unit , <br /> tr 901 & 903 Ridgewood Way. I was unaware that it was not zoned <br /> correctly at the time. I have maintained it as a two unit the <br /> whole time I have owned it . The fact that it wasn ' t zoned <br /> for a duplex was brought to my attention in December 1991 by <br /> the Town on Madison . At that time their only conern was that <br /> it be brought up to code for a multi-family dwelling , which <br /> was done to the best of my knowledge at the time. I recently <br /> had some electrical work done there to put in a third <br /> electrical meter and applied for the necessary permit .
