Bartlett ('A Waterfront Condominium Development&Marina ) <br /> Zoning Inspector <br /> Dane County Planning & Development <br /> Room 116, City-County Building <br /> Madison, WI 53709 <br /> Dear Mr. Bartlett: <br /> The Mariner's Cove at Lighthouse Bay Owner's Association, Inc. is requesting an inspection <br /> of the Yahara Place Condominium Plat, CUP-1408, for compliance with the terms of <br /> specifications identified in the Town of Westport Resolution#97-12. Based upon our <br /> observations of the development of this property, we believe there are three violations that <br /> require immediate attention and correction. <br /> 1. The parking lot layout appears to be such that cars will park facing east, with lights <br /> shining directly into Mariner's Cove condominiums. This orientation does not comply <br /> with the approved plat layout that shows car-parking orientation facing west. <br /> 2. The parking lot appears to encroach on the right-of-way of Hansons Landing Road. <br /> 3. The parking lot was approved for 11 outdoor parking places with two spaces <br /> reserved for handicapped parking. No handicapped access ramps have been <br /> provided for entrance into the facility from the parking lot. <br /> These discrepancies are in conflict with condition 21 of the Town of Westport's conditional <br /> approval of this plat which states "...shall be constructed in the configuration and dimensions <br /> as shown on the attached Plat and as represented at the February 26, 1997, public <br /> hearing..."
